Congratulations Donald Charles: Internship at EyesteelFilm

For the whole month of June, Donald Charles, Ciné Institute student, embarked on an intensive professional production internship at EyesteelFilm located in Montréal Canada. EyesteelFilm is a documentary film and interactive media company dedicated to using cinema as a catalyst for social and political change by covering diverse, compelling, and underreported stories.

Student Films Evaluation Week Wrap Party

Every year, during Evaluation Week, student final works are evaluated prior to graduation. This year’s jury members were Patricia Benoit, Bruno Mourral, Edwidge Danticat, Richard Auguste Morse, Mona Scott-Young, Gaëthan Chancy, Robert Marsan and Jerry Lamothe. At the end of the week, we threw a cocktail party in honor of everyone’s hard work.

Daniel Morel Workshop

Richard Auguste Morse Workshop

Richard Auguste Morse is a Puerto-Rican-born, Haitian-American musician and hotel manager currently residing in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Morse runs the famous Hotel Oloffson, and is the founder of a mizik rasin band, RAM, named after his initials. Student Films Evaluation Week

Mathilda Cappelluto Workshop

Canadian make-up artist, Mathilda Cappelluto, taught a special effects make-up class to first year Ciné Institute students. They produced spectacular work, however, due to its somewhat graphic nature we won’t showcase all the photos here!

Ana Cappelluto Workshop

Ana Cappelluto is a Fine Arts Dean from Montréal’s Concordia University. Ana Cappelluto is also an accomplished, award-winning scenographer and an integral member of the Montréal theatre community. She conducted a two week long production design class with first and second year Ciné Institute students.
