Ciné Institute Student featured at 10th Annual Montreal International Black Film Festival

We are very excited to announce that one of our own students, Amiral Gaspard, has been selected to screen his idependent film ‘Le Bon, Le Mechant, L’Apprenti’ at the 10th Annual Montreal International Black Film Festival at the end of this month! It is shaping up to be a very inspiring week of independent filmmakers revealing their passion and investment in the arts through their films. Here at the Ciné Institute we are so excited for Amiral, who is truly inspiring the next generation of students here in Haiti to work hard and dream big!

The Festival is set to start on September 23rd with a walk down the red carpet, a Q&A with famous director, screenwriter, and Pioneer Award Nominee, Spike Lee, followed by week full of exciting screenings including Amiral’s on September 27th. We are only a few short weeks away from the festival and tickets are going quickly, come out and support Amiral Gaspard with us! Plus, check out a teaser from his fantastic film below:
